On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I congratulate all Bermudians, and join you in celebrating the wonderful and inspirational heritage of Bermuda this May 24.
Americans and Bermudians share a rich, robust history as friends and partners stretching back more than four hundred years. Our deep and enduring bonds are forever firmly rooted in a shared cultural heritage, common values, and support for freedom and democracy around the world.
The United States remains committed to strengthening our partnership in the years to come.
