East claim All Star win

The island’s best young cricketers came together at Somerset Cricket Club to contest the 2013 BF&M 17 & Under All Star game.

East took on West — and it was the East who took home the trophy after skittling their opponents out for 67.

The victory was reached for the loss of six wickets, despite bowler Sheldon Ceasar’s efforts.

The MVP for the East was Maquille Walker, with two wickets and a catch, while the West’s MVP was Ceasar with two for 14.

Following the All Star game, the Under-17s played a T20 match.

And the East were victorious once again, reaching their 101 target for the loss of just three wickets.
