Best of the BEST swimming series begins

Today, National Coach Ben Smith made the following announcement.

Mr. Smith said, “We have the first of the Best of BEST series swimming meet this Saturday, February 23rd. The Best of the BEST series consists of a total of three swim meets spread over several weeks.

This week’s swim meet will be held at the Warwick Academy Pool and will begin at 8:30am.

Swimmers will be looking to become the eventual age group winners of this series, in addition to which, many of them will be attempting to get qualifying times (or additional qualifying times) that will allow them to participate in the CARIFTA games in Jamaica later in the year.”

Following this Saturday’s meet there will be a development meet at 12pm for our younger swimmers.

Next week Saturday, March 2nd there will be another qualifying meet at Warwick Academy Pool, at 12noon.
