BEPRO's Glo Party for the 'mature, classy' crowd
TUESDAY, MARCH 27: Bermuda’s Emerging Professionals will be holding an event on Saturday aimed at young professionals.
BEPRO, a division of the Chamber of Commerce, will be holding Glo Party to coincide with Earth Hour at Rum Bar.
Kimberley Caines, chair of BEPRO said: “Last year we did a Glo golf event which was well received and this year we decided to do a Glo themed party coinciding with Earth Hour.
“In the past we have done cocktail parties and sunset boat cruises but in terms of a real night club party, I believe this is the first.”
As for what will make it different than regular parties, Ms Caines said: “Our party patrons can set their minds at ease and party without breaking the bank.
“Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door, $30 VIP.
“Drink specials will be beat the clock including all rail highballs, bottle beer and house white and red wine as follows, 10pm to 11pm: $4 plus grats, 11pm to 12 am: $5 plus grats and 12am to 3am: $5.75 plus grats.”
Ms Caines said there will also be dinner discounts with 20 per cent off to BEPRO members at Victoria Grill and patrons with tickets after 8pm.
There will also be all you can eat Brazilian Churrasco available for $39.95 all night long.
Asked why people should attend, Nijah Smith, BEPRO Social Director said: "We wanted to create an event for mature, classy party people.
“This event is for anyone who deems themselves professional.
“What we are trying to express to people is we believe that there are professionals from every single business sector/industry including but not limited to international business, construction, hospitality, health care and more.
“We do not exclude anyone from attending our events provided you aren't there to cause trouble and spoil it for the rest of us.
“This party is sure to be good, clean fun, no drama and no violence.
“The proceeds from this event will go back to all of the great event ideas we have for next year, such events include professional development lunch-n-learn seminars, community events and even more social events.
“We hope that our events will encourage other young professionals to meet, mingle and network.”
