Perozzi retained her WBA Middleweight title after the grueling fight with April Ward went the distance and judges ruled her the winner.
She told the Sun: "The reception I received when I walked into the ring was just incredible.
"It was the best reception I have ever received in a fight.
"The support from the crowd was just amazing."
Perrozi had predicted the fight would not go the distance, but she was just happy to get the win.
She added: "The win was the most important thing.
"When you look back on a fight there are always things you say you should have done. But I got the win and that was what mattered.
"She really only caught me clean with two or three punches.
"I made sure I kept coming forward and that counted for a lot at the end of the day."
Perozzi now wants to fight American Tori Nelson for the WBC belt.
She said: "After the experience of fighting in Bermuda last night I would love to get her down here.
"To fight in front of a crowd like that again would be amazing.
"I'm feeling good about the shape I'm in at the moment and would love unify the two belts."
