WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17: Jennifer Salinas is now one step closer to getting a title fight. Salinas is now 12-3 with four knockouts after outclassing American Dulin Saturday night at the Fairmont Southampton ballroom.
Salinas won every round on every judge’s card to take the bout 60 to 54.
Nicknamed “The Bolivian Queen”, she met with Bolivia president Evo Morales in August to help bolster financial support as she aims to become the world champion.
She said: “I’m hoping for a title fight in Bolivia, my country sometime next year. I had a meeting with the president of my country a few weeks ago and he’s offered his help and support for the big project we’re trying to put together in fighting for a title for Bolivia in Bolivia.
“I have a lot of support behind me and I am very excited that I am able to do this.
“I love boxing and my dream is to fight for a title and be a world champion one day.”
