FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16: Patrick Nisbett, Raishun Burch and Ki Minors are good sports above everything else.
The three are renown for their international show jumping abilities and will be back in Bermuda as part of the Home Show taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Botanicals.
But on Saturday night the trio will become a different kind of equestrian as they get into the sulky for a night of fun and try their hands at harness pony racing.
They will be assigned ponies from the 1:09/4 to 1:11/4 time bar so none of them will have an advantage.
Drive
Tyler Lopes’ Iron Mike, Samantha Hayward’s Red Grand and Joseph Vieira’s Stay Tuned will be the three ponies the show jumpers will drive.
The night’s racing card is expected to get underway at 7pm with the featured event happening sometime around 8:30pm. Admission is $5 for adults while children under 12 are free.
