Writers' retreat to take place at Cambridge Beaches
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 1: If you have ever thought about writing a book, a new retreat might help you to finish what you started.
Writing coach Jan Fraser has written three books and says the first one took her five years, the second one five months, and the third one only five days. She now wants to share how she did it. The retreat takes place at Cambridge Beaches on February 17 to 19.
“Last month, I conducted a five-day Writer’s Retreat in Las Vegas where 75 per cent of the participants completed their book and the others are well on their way to finishing theirs” say Ms Fraser. “I’m really excited about holding a retreat right here in Bermuda for those who have dreamed of writing their book but find it difficult to pull it out of their head and put it down on paper. I provide the motivation, techniques and methods that help authors bring their dream into a reality.
“I can’t guarantee participants will finish their book over this weekend” says Fraser, “that usually only happens in our five-day retreat, but I will promise that with the tools I provide they will write more easily and swiftly and be well on their way with that best-seller that they’ve had bottled up inside them”.
The fee to attend the Writer’s Retreat is $785. Cambridge Beaches Hotel & Spa is offering a special rate only available for Writer’s Retreat participants of $165 per night (plus tax), inclusive of breakfast. Other special benefits offered to participants are complimentary Internet access, 15% discount on Ocean Spa Treatments and an upgrade to a deluxe room. All rooms will have water views.
