Willow Cuts’ Jones named Player of the Week
Logic and the Bermuda Cricket Board announced on Wednesday that the Logic Premier Division 'Player of the Week' is Malachi Jones of Willow Cuts Cricket Club.
In an away game against Southampton Rangers on Sunday, Malachi scored 94 runs and took 3 wickets for 35. That win helped propel his club to second place in the Logic 50 Overs Premier Division League with three wins and no losses.
The Logic 'Emerging Player of the Week' is 18 year-old Zeko Burgess of sixth-place St. Georges Cricket Club. In the game against Western Stars, Zeko scored 45 runs and took 2 wickets for 33.
