Stephen Allen, who won the Butterfield and Vallis 5k just last month, crossed the finish line in 33:29 minutes.
He was just 16 seconds ahead of Chayse Smith who came in second.
While Sean Trott picked up the third place in a time of 34 minutes 11 seconds.
Meanwhile Jennifer Alen came out in top in the ladies category.
She crossed the finish line in 40:41, less than a minute ahead of her nearest competitor Deon Breary.
Nearly a thousand islanders took part in the annual event that saw competitors run and walk the route.
Race organiser, Carole Collard, told the Bermuda Sun: "We were very happy with the turn out today.
"Luckily for the runners and the walkers most of them were able to finish the course before the really bad weather came.
"It was great to see all the competitors on the road this morning and people cheering them along.
"This is a very time consuming project and I am very relieved that everything went well today.
"People seemed to be having a lot of fun and should be proud of their achievements."
