Foster, Reta win National Squash titles

Patrick Foster struck a victory for age over youth as he defeated Micah Franklin in the Digicel National Squash Championships on Saturday.

Franklin had the upper hand in the first set winning 12 to 10, but that would be as good as it got for him. Foster then roared back to take the next three sets and the title 11-3, 11-5 and with a thrilling 12-10 to finish off Franklin.

Robbie Maycock took third place by defeating Nick Kyme 11-6, 11-4, 8-11 and 11-3. Noah Browne beat D’Vario Thompson in straight sets to win fifth.

Runa Reta won the Ladies Open Title 11-2, 11-4 and 11-8 over Laura Robinson.

Rachel Barnes took third by defeating Liz Martin 11-9, 11-6, 6-11 and 11-6.
