Dill chills out the 420 class
Peter Dill’s consistent showing in the latest round of Frostbite races ensured he stayed top of the 420 Class leaderboard.
The Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club series continued apace at the weekend and Dill recorded one win, two second places and three thirds.
Mikey Wollmann moves to second overall in the series after a superb performance, chalking up three wins, two seconds and a third to lie just seven points behind the front-runner.
James Amaral enjoyed two wins at the weekend to claw his way back into the series standings in fifth.
Radials
In the Laser Radial Class Ben Smith turned on the style with five wins to move into second overall. Leader Steve O’Reilly bagged two seconds and four thirds to retain top spot but Smith is just 29 points behind.
Richard Neame, in his first appearance of the series, claimed a win and three seconds to get on the board and occupy seventh overall.
Lasers
In the Laser Standard Class Malcolm Smith is just in front of Rockal Evans overall with 25 points to Evans’ 26.
Smith claimed two wins and three second places to hold off a storming Evans, who racked up four wins. n
