Carlos Astwood, 49, denied intimidating a Filipino national and threatening to blow up her place of employment on June 22 this year.
Crown counsel Susan Mulligan told Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner that Astwood, of no fixed abode, allegedly approached the woman while she and a co-worker were at the Hamilton Bus Terminal on the date in question.
Mr Warner remanded the man into custody until his October 15 court date. As he was being led away, Astwood shouted to Ms Mulligan: “Get your case together lady. I know you have a personal vendetta against me.”
