Willow Cuts saw off Somerset by 73 runs in the latest round of Logic Premier Division games at the weekend.
It was the second win on the bounce for Cuts, who were in excellent form at Somerset Cricket Club.
They had a superb third-wicket partnership between Chris Douglas (85) and Shaquille Jones (30) to thank for laying a platform and getting their score up to 164 batting first.
In reply, Somerset had no answer to paceman Malachi Jones, who took three wickets for seven runs off five overs.
Somerset were all out for 91.
Meanwhile, at Sea Breeze Oval, Southampton beat Bailey’s Bay by 24 runs.
In a rain-affected match, Bay were set 116 to win off 28 overs at just over four runs per over. And they appeared on course but lost six wickets for 18 runs to be all out for 92.
In the weekend’s other game, St David’s beat Cleveland by seven wickets.
