Crossfire and Solaise conquer Mount Gay regatta

Crossfire and Solaise claimed victory in the Bermuda Offshore Cruising Association’s Mount Gay Regatta, sponsored by Gosling’s.

In the Sprit Division, Crossfire, skippered by Brian Hillier, finished ahead of Yabsta in second and Chequemate in third.

Behind the top three came Joji, Back in Black and Sadiiqi in fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

Solaise, skippered by Neil Redburn, won the Non-Sprit Division, holding off the challenge of Premier Cru, who finished in second. Watercolours came home in third, while Friendship came fourth.

The prizegiving took place at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club. BOCA would like to thank returning Gosling’s for their support.

The ceremony also featured an impromptu set from touring a capella group The Harvard Krokodiloes.
